Special guest Christophe Chantre will kick off the afternoon. He is the co-founder and ex-CEO of Tender Food, a food technology company making alternative meats that are delicious, healthy, and affordable. Spinning out of Kit Parker's lab, the core belief that breakthrough technologies could help transform how we produce and consume food propelled Tender from an academic concept into a company redefining the boundaries of food manufacturing.
Christophe previously worked as a program lead at the Wyss Institute to develop and validate functionality of regenerative heart valve bioprosthetics in preclinical studies. He also supported various other efforts to commercialize technologies developed at the Wyss/Parker Lab, ranging from sustainable foods to textiles and medical devices.
He is committed to tackling climate and global health challenges and eager to start building again at the intersection of technology, climate, and/or global health. Make sure to say hi if you want connect, catchup or need help with anything!
